I haven't posted pics of my estate sale finds lately so I'll jam it all into one thread now...

This is a well cared for 1060 I found a few weeks ago, but it's been 'jacked a little bit in it's overhauls:

Last week I grabbed this nice Constellation 86. The hose is pretty shabby, but the floor tool & wands are OK - also found the original book in the house too.

In the same house as Connie was this General Electric tank-type vac. I'd never seen one all chrome in advertising or the little bit of service/parts info I have for GE - but here it is. I didn't grab it the first day of the sale but went back (for both) on 1/2 price Sunday. It still runs very quiet and despite the appearance, the hose still manages good suction. Does anyone recongnize it?

86

Wow that connie is beautiful. Does it look as good in person as it does in the pictures?
I love the blue color. Does anyone know what years these were made in blue?

The blue Connie model 86 was built from 12/5/62 to 10/31/63. This makes it the rarest of the 86's of course. They were the popular priced models and I think one of the nicest colors that Hoover offered on the Connie at the time. Congrats, Greg on your finds. It makes it all worthwhile when you find something good like these fine machines.
