After 3 days of aggravation, I finally figured out how to rewire the cord! I had to work from the top down and disconnect the wires from the power switch and reroute it out of the old lower handle assembly and reroute it back up through the new LHA. After all this, the thing runs! Exceeeeeept, THERE'S NO SUCTION!!! The paper bag didn't inflate and there was no suction in the tool port

When it was all parts, I shook out the floor unit and there was some dirt that fell out and I checked the bellow tube, no clogs. The brush roll revolves, so it's not a belt problem

Here's a pic of it (the gray bag one-U4231) next to the Decade which is currently being used as an underwear hook. The U4233 (burgundy bag) needs a lower handle assembly too.
