Oreck maintenance... Orecks work very well if maintained. It should have a new belt at least once a year, as with any upright IMHO, and I advise my customers a new brushroll every 3-4 yrs. if used regularly. Shop around for a good price, they're 39.00 at the Oreck stores. | ||

Oreck Prices wow My Mom's friend had her Oreck Serviced at the Oreck Store in Fairfield CA and it was $189. From what they can tell it was a new brushroll, belt and paper bag and it was "cleaned up". To quote my Mom "I bet you could have done it just as well and for less." | ||

The two Oreck stores in town here are outrageous. Thus the reason they are attempting to sell them, and ultimately the reason for their soon-to-be demise. To add a bit of insult to injury I've decided to run another full page ad offering free tune-ups and belts to all Oreck owners. For those of you with stores, this is a great way to bring in customers and relinquish Oreck's hold on them.
