I've seen several references to Tristar PNs with a VG3 brushroll. Was this the standard brushroll for the Tristar 'Turbo Brush' PNs at some point, or is this an aftermarket upgrade or different PN? |

The original Eureka design power nozzles had the Vigrabroomer I & II brush rolls. When Tristar went with its own design (but still made by Eureka), they switched to an all bristle brush roll. However, I have VGI & VGII brush rolls in both of my Tristar power nozzles. I have a Eureka Sweep 'n Groom with a VGIII that I sometimes use too. I've heard of people modifying a VGIII to fit into a Tristar nozzle, but I don't know how it's done. I'm guessing it involves taking the ends off a VGII and fitting them onto a VGIII.
