So... i decided that my room needed cleaned (I am NOT a dirty person, just haven't fully cleaned my room in a while) so I pulled out the mighty Beast-O-Matic Tristar CXL with the Eureka VG3 pn and cleaned my carpet with come glade carpet-fresh. I forgot how much I love my Tristar CXL it's an awesome machine and made my carpets look almost new again ;-p lol, i've been using that G3 too much... The Tristar has been hiding unused since I got the G3, poor Tristar. Oh well... he has risen again!!! LOL

the only thin i found that can match my TriStar's cleaning power is my Eureka 1458A with newly installed 7 amp motor

VG3 PN?

I've seen several references to Tristar PNs with a VG3 brushroll. Was this the standard brushroll for the Tristar 'Turbo Brush' PNs at some point, or is this an aftermarket upgrade or different PN?

Tristar Brush Rolls

eurekastar's profile picture
The original Eureka design power nozzles had the Vigrabroomer I & II brush rolls. When Tristar went with its own design (but still made by Eureka), they switched to an all bristle brush roll. However, I have VGI & VGII brush rolls in both of my Tristar power nozzles. I have a Eureka Sweep 'n Groom with a VGIII that I sometimes use too. I've heard of people modifying a VGIII to fit into a Tristar nozzle, but I don't know how it's done. I'm guessing it involves taking the ends off a VGII and fitting them onto a VGIII.

idk how to do it... but it can be done, i'd rather have the vg3 in the tristar pn, just for looks and benefits
