I sent a gold model L electrolux motor to a customer and it was two long for his white body model L.Does anyone know for sure if the gold model L had a bigger motor than the previous blue and white models? Richard new2youvacuums | ||

I don't know ... I always assumed all the Model Ls had the same motor. The housing is the same in all of them and, presumably, the mounting hardware. | ||

His model L My customer's model L looked like a rebuilt version perhaps not by electrolux,perhaps something was modified in the body.Anyhow I had a CB motor that I sent him in exchange and it fit. | ||

I will re list the motor and if this problem occurs again. I will know that the motor for the gold L is bigger. | ||
