Charles-Richard I really like your souped up Lux 30. I have often thought of putting a later model motor in one but just never did it. It should be a great and fun vacuum to use with the orginal tools. Thanks for Sharing Norm |

looks like an add-on *I* would like! maybe didnt sell so much since bag manuf. were making paper liners for the standard XXX cloth bag pretty early on? |

Charles, I think part of the reason the chamber didn't catch on that well is that in the same time period, they were also making paper bag inserts that were placed inside the cloth bag. No alterations to the cleaner itself were necessary, and they were both cheap and readily available. Of course, you either had to thoroughly clean your cloth bag or buy a new one before using them.
