It never left. They never stopped producing them. The only different thing about the one in the link is the color.

Every time I click on the 1934 it takes me to a hand vac, they need to fix that.

Nice to see they listed it back on their website considering there still for sale.

I did a check on this and according to Essco and Steel City

(both are vacuum suppliers) they never stopped producing that machine, it has always been available

So the current one is called the 1934B huh? I like the look of the original and I like the look of that one too! I think it's a great vacuum and I'm glad they are still making a traditional vacuum. I'm using my Eureka Smart Vac as a daily driver now (need something with attachments with a cat!), but I do enjoy the 1934A!
