Today I found one of the best trash finds ever! I was driving across town on a back street with a friend of mine and I saw an old Kirby sitting out with some bags of trash. I said, lets pick up that vacuum and see if its any good. (she doesnt know I collect them) so I stopped and put it into my back seat. when I got home I took it out and plugged it in on the porch. I stepped on the on button, and expecting either nothing or the roar of bad bearings. IT RAN PERFECTLY! so I took the bag off and emptied it, vacuumed the inside and washed it. I also adjusted the brushroll. that is all it needed. the brushroll has been replaced with a 4 row brush, and it has a plastic fan in it, so it seems like it was maintained pretty well, the only thing wrong with it is the light bulb is burned out. it even has a good belt on it! I did have to clean it up though... it even has the original red cord that is also in perfect condition!

That would be a good machine for cleaning your church, durable, good performer, and free

I remember when the Classic III came out. I thought it was gloriously beautiful, far more so than the (to me) dreary-looking 1CR and Ω.

Excellent find!
