I was skimping through the vintage archives and came accross this thread made by Hans when he found a GE C3 Roll-Around. I noticed his has a pink swivel top (Hans, can you tell us if it's plastic or painted metal?). Mine has a shiny chrome-metal top.

What's the deal with this???

plastic vs metal...

The buffed metal top was made first..im not positive but I think it was made 55-56 and the plastic top came out in late 56 or 57.
