A two-for-one auction of a 1985 Royal Prince 501 hand vacuum and a 1960s Royal 603 is occurring.

The seller listing the auction says this 603, branded as a "Stark Special," was made back when the full state names were printed, making this vacuum appear to be from the early/mid 1960s, before Royal began abbreviating the states to three letters (such as "ORE" for Oregon, so, "OHI" for Ohio anyone?). The seller hints it was around 1981 that they began using two letter abbreviations for the state of origin.

Stark's has been the distributor of Royal vacuums in the Pacific Northwest since 1932.
