While at the flea market today, I purchased a Hoover Hornet canister model S1221. I got only the canister by itself but I have the hose & tools from a beat-up Hornet. I always liked the Hornet, the Sprint & the PortaPower II. IIRC, the TOL Sprint even had a powerhead. Anyway, both of my Hornets have a slight bearing noise. Has anyone taken one apart to grease the bearings? Should I leave it alone? Any info would be appreciated.
