Today this Silver King vac came my way. I don't know if this is "vintage" or not. The design of the hose doesn't suggest it's being too awfully old. The tag on it says that it's a Model 73B-2. Anybody know the approximate vintage of this thing?

The hose has an electrical cord twinned onto (but not built into) it, so I suppose it should have a power nozzle and I didn't get that with it. Since I've never seen one of these creatures before, my chances of finding a stray power nozzle and wand for it are pretty slim. I guess if I use it at all, it will just have to be a shop vac.

Mensch, does this thing have some suction power. The motor isn't all that noisey. It's hard to tell from the picture, but I think part of the handle is missing as there is no feature for convenient carry at present. There are two black side pieces for a presumed handle, but nothing that goes across to connect them

On the tag is also says "Silver King International, Colorado Springs, Colorado." The cord that is intended for the power nozzle is two contact.

It looks a little modern, but at the same time vintage as well.
