At least these are still avalable from this place. but they have onboard tools which I HATE. I wish I could find one like in the picture. I am talking about the soft&light. I would also love to find a grey legacy because thats what my parents had whenI was little!

I am with you guys-don't like "on board" upright attachments either.they love to fall of as you use the machine-get in the way,and make the machine HEAVIER.On board canister tools are nice-esp if they are under a lid or cover so they don't fall off or get in the way as the vacuum is used.On the Hoover "soft and Light" beleive they make a commercial version of this machine-It DOESN'T have the attachments and has a longer 3 wire grounded cord to meet OSHA and ANSI safety standards.I beleive the vac dealer near me has one.If interested could check on it.I have seen some businessses using these.

On board tools

Hi Andy I also agree with you on board tools are nothing but trouble. I see you have the new Kirby. How do you like it? it looks real nice Andy is it easy to push i guess i should ask you do they still have the power drive. If you dont mind me asking about how much was it. I have anoung many other kirbys The G3,4,5,. They all work very well. Ok Andy hope to hear from you soon Doug
