From a collector perhaps? [see link below]

I surrrrrre would love to have that Junior. When I was in Sydney in 2008 for the Hoover Centennial, the president of Godfreys Vacuum Cleaners (a major sponsor of the event) promised to send me one of the two Juniors that were on display in the Museum of Contemporary Art as part of the exhibition. Alas, I guess he forgot.......

You know, in looking just now through the 300+ photos I took in Sydney, I have appreciated anew what a memorable, glorious time I had there. I never wrote anything much about the trip because of the resentful feelings, negative dynamics and hurtful accusations that swirled around my being invited by the Hoover Company to go there.

I have always been very sorry that that once-in-a-lifetime journey was clouded by such sorrow. If I could have foreseen the fallout that was going to rain down from my going there, I probably wouldn't have gone.

One of these days, I really should put up a web page about that incredible experience... one of these days.......

Oh well, I'm not going to open that sad and dark chapter again.

Meanwhile, I sure would love to have one of the original Hoover Juniors! Maybe one of these days there'll be a big box from Aussieland waiting for me down at the church...

Our very own "1066hoovers".

I have bought from him before and my experience was of a good and reliable seller. It was from him I bought my Hoover 417 :)

Junior 370 shown in the link

This was the first Junior. It always surprises me how many of these show up considering that they have a fairly short production life before being replaced by the 375 model that Charles Richard is using above. Mind you finding one with an origional bag would be more of a problem ....

In Sydney they had three Juniors on display -- a 370 (which had won a national contest of being the oldest Hoover still being used), the 375 you see me using above, and a rather-later one, the brown and tan 115.

You can see the 370 in the link below although it is not identified as the contest winner.

I noticed them too!

I saw these on Ebay a day or two ago but the guy lives in London and has put them down for collection only. It's a bit too far for me to go plus I already have examples of most of these models..but would consider bidding if they were nearby.
