JUNIOR COMPACT

Hi,

The Junior Compact was a hard bag variation of the Junior cleaners. Initially the 1012, and later the 1036/1104.

There are pictures on Hooverland of just such cleaners. One is with Rogers colection, and the other in Kevin Cox' family.

I hope that this helps dude.

Clark.

Actually it's the turn of the 1980s or perhaps 1979.
The 1012 version was a catalogue exclusive and actually did not appear until after the 1012 had been replaced by the 1036. The hard bag first appeared in the brown/cream version 1036 and carried on into the 1104 series, this was all cream - model 2210 I think. It carried on until around 1982 or maybe 83, I think it was dropped when the Turbopower was introduced.

They do crop up on eBay now and again the later cream version rather more than the brown/cream
