Hi Here is my new Hoover ranger I got today from ebay. Not bad for £9.99 Just one or two bits that need doing to it like a new logo on the hood and a lower cable hook:o)

I'm happy with it:o)Another one for display in the museum...

James:o)

congrats!

hey James, this is such a wonderful machine. I managed to get the same here, along with some attachments and I love it to pieces. First when I got it I thought "hum-ho, hm" but not that it is restored and running I am more than pleased with it. This distinct "no-nonsense" growl of the brushroll just makes you hear what it does when cleaning. I regret not having to vacuum a convention hall, my place is way too small for this goodie.

Weird though: Mine has a top fill tube in the bag, is this normal? The 652 doesn't. Am I missing something?
Cheers and enjoy!
Joe

Whirlpolf,

Yes these machines have a top fill bag.

This probably made the Senior Ranger famous......

a cutie, James. In the US, they were still called Convertbiles when this one debuted. We didn't get too many of this style. Nice, no-nonsense functionality, and a good performer.

Nice addition !!!!!

James,

She looks good doesn't she. She sounded absolutely sweet when we ran her up. I don't think you could wish for a better runner. Not nasty noises as the wound down, and she did so slowly and smoothly.

I am sorting you a roundel which is a little smoother than the one you have.

Pics of the Z65 will be on here soon enough, and when I have done, the U1012 too.
I'm looking forward to seeing some pics of the U2408 turbo I brought you when you get chance to clean her up! :D:D:D:D

Happy vacuuming and see you again soon,

Clark.
