I've been playing with my new scanning in the last week or so and I don't have many vacuum goodies in my literature, I had these. Hope you enjoy and everyone has a safe and fun holiday weekend!

Thanks for posting these Greg! That Strato Cleaner is just beautiful. I have always been very impressed with it every since I got to try Tania's out.

Yeah, everyone seems to rave about the Strato Cleaner, especially Hans Craig who, as he puts it, "will suck dry paint off the wall!"

I've never seen one in captivity, let alone use one. It's a beautiful vacuum cleaner.

The Hose Connection

vacbear58's profile picture
I am curious about the hose connection on the Aero and Strato cleaners - is there some trick to undoing it? I have a cleaner which has a similar looking hose connection but I have never been able to get it undone. This cleaner was sold, in the early 1960s, under the National Utilities label (nothing to do with national Panasonic). It appears that a number early Bylock (UK) machines were of Apex design, and I wonder if this cleaner was also an Apex design. Here is is ....

I have the Aero Cleaner and the Strato

I have 3 different aero cleaners, and 2 stratos, unfortunately my green strato had a problem, the fan came apart!!!! but truly these and the Dual Deluxe Sunbeam were the MOST POWERFUL vacs on the market!!!

Hans, do you have the Dual Deluxe Sunbeam? It would be great to see a picture of that.

Remember how I kept finding Apexes (Strato, etc.) for you back in the 90's? It seemed like everytime I went into this one thrift store in Portland, they had another one! I bet we found - maybe 4 of them?
