I surely have to replace the belts ( the flat at least) and the agitator's bristles are quite worn out but but I don't think I'll buy a new one...I don't think I'll use it much...but I really prefer this one to the Total systems I have. I also have to purchase a pack of bags, can't remember if I have some in my inventory...

Where's the Hoover logo that was on the bag in the first pic? Did it wash off?

OOOOH my GOD I didi it again!!!
Yes, it seems that It was washed away...I'm sorry...this means that hoover didn't print a durable logo on turbomaster soft bag vacs. However it's better without the logo than with a terrible smell...I'll go looking for a new one;-

Don't feel bad... I've ruined a bag or two myself by washing them.. and you are absolutely right... the odor would HAVE to go.. still a great looking machine nonetheless! Best of luck!

Just awesome machines. IMO this was the last of the great machines made by Hoover. THis was around the time when the thinking was the higher the motor wattage the stronger the machine so hoover followed suit and started to mach clean air machines?.. Such a shame as the turbomasters along with the turbopowers had fantastic suction at the base and really cleaned and groomed carpets much better than any of their rivals...

I am planning on learning how to silkscreen, so it is very possible you could have an "original" logo on the bag, except that it would not be done by Hoover! :-)

~~K~~

I am going to be making some Kirby C bags when I get the materials. If anyone wants some, let me know!
