I find the gas pump style hose is uncomfortable for me to use,I prefer the pistol grip style.

I prefer the pistol grip also, especially the one with the trigger switch on my Lux '89 hose.

The gas pump style is so-so when used strictly for vacuuming carpet, but for almost any other task, its useless. The pistol or curved style is perfect for carpet AND non-carpet tasks.

Hans,

You would be difficult...and different...LOL

Pistol Grip for me, gas pump style is completely useless.

But, Hans, you are correct, the best and most useful of all are Air-Way and Kirby with the straight hose end and curved wand. I love using the older style Kirby tools, the short hose end makes using the dusting brush, upholstery tool a snap. Fits into almost any place you need it. Straight, simple and to the point.

Try using any of the moderns stuff...it just about impossible.

pistol, i do like lux but the large gas pump style make it hard to use the tools to dust, etc.
