Hi Dave -
I lost track of the thread about your Eureka Special. So, I started a new one. I FINALLY got my scanner going (so much for wireless printers; I had to get my hands on a USB cable and make the thing work the old-fashioned way.
Here's a scan of half of a large pamplet. The date is inknown, though I would guesstimate it to be about 1928 or '29. There's your Eureka Special!

Thank-you thank-you John!

If I see the colours right it sure looks like a pale green bag with golden yellow lettering to me. And as I examine the inside seams of the faded with age bag I believe I can detest a faint green aura. :-)
As I mentioned, mainly only the bag's top closer clamp seam piping edge and the bottom seam of the bag are badly ragged torn and so by duplicating the top piped edge and the bottom seam into the re-enforced bag collar I will lose only about 1.5" of total bag length but it will look so much better. I intend to place a same size new sewn bag inside so it can be demonstrated without blasting dust all over.

Have not yet repaired and re-sewn the bag and now I'm thinking I should give it a bath in a mild pale apple green dye, which would really highlight the yellow logotype.

Could i trouble you to post the other half of the pamphlet so that I can print out a spliced copy?

Dave

Hey Dave -

I will unfold the pamphlet and post the rest here, but first....I think the bag I supposed to be gray, not green. I've never seen a truly green one.....
