Well today the weather was wonderful and every where you looked there was garage sales and neighborhood sales. So as stated above, I couldn't help myself. I found some great deals! I found an Electrolux CB with the power nozzle for 18 dollars. The motor does not sound to good. I found a Dirt Devil Room Mate for 10 dollars, a Dirt Devil Carpet Sweeper for a dollar, a Sharp Light-N-Powerful for 5 dollars, which is a very neat cleaner. I also found a Bissell Carpet Machine for 5 dollars, that is brand new, literally. But I didn't find out that you have to hook it up the faucet to use it until after I got home. It is also missing the solution tank. Stupid of me not to have known when I got it. But it will make a good shop vac. I also found a mint green Eureka F&G upright on the side of the road. It runs, just a bit beat up. I was going to go to some more sales, but it got old after a while. Heres a picture of everything:

Wow! You must have had a good day! It looks like that Eureka needs a new F&G bag, seriously.

Just gray. It is a Sharp Light-N-Powerful. There is on ebay right now actually, just the next step up of that model. Just search Sharp vacuum and it should be there. Or maybe Sharp Vacuum Cleaner

Electrolux CB

Hey there Chase--If you need some hints on how to service the Lux CB let me know. It may need bearings, and it might need a new armature, depending on if it has the higher speed motor.
The motors on those vacs are really good, they have good suction power.
Let me know if I can help!

What a score Chase. I found the same Eureka on the side of the road last fall I love it! I woulda tried to talk down the Roommate to 5 lol. As for the Bissell I used to love the one I had even though you have to hook it to the sink, wich limits your cleaning distance, all you do for the solution is stick the short clear tube in the bottle of shampoo(if its not missing)and it mixes it with the tap water as you clean!
:ove the Lux too!Id like to find one some day. They were very common around here yet I can't seem to find one lol. The liquor store down the street from me has one that they have had sence I was a kid. The guy let me vacuum the store while my dad shopped when I was like 5 or 6.
Anyway Good Luck and happy hunting.

So it was designed for you to put the tube in the solution? Not a bad idea. I was upset when I found out I couldn't use it though because none of my sinks have a hookup for it :( But I do love these, they are great for getting stains out. And I did try to talk them down on the Roommate, but she wouldn't budge. I figured since they were uncommon to find, I'd just pay.
