Hey Guys
As anyone ive explained this to knows Hoover UK only used 2 model numbers for the Deluxe/Senior in the 60s- 652(our version of the 65) and then 652A with 5!!! versions.

I added another one on Saturday- the 4th incarnation, the pics show the 5th version for comparison.

Seamus

Spot the difference...

There are basically 2

1 The bag....

The bags whilst the same colour have 2 differences- the later one used the nwe style internal plastic hook(broken on this one unfortunatly) and the oos in Hoover are squareish not round.....

Is the rating plate- this is the early version with the metal plate and the serial# stamped into the chassis

The later version........

Sticker with the serial # on it- model still stamped tho.

This one dates from April 69- the blue 4 height 6525C replaced it in Jan 70

Seamus...these are just beautiful machines. I like this color combo very much! It is hard for me to imagine such a long run...it is no wonder why there were so many different changes over the years. They were probably made for cost reduction purposes. It still never ceases to amaze me how well built the UK machines were. Thanks for the pics!!!
