I'm so excited with anticipation I could spit! Found this online while doing some collaborative research with a good friend (and fellow Kirby enthusiast) of mine... Looks like the official name is the Kirby "Avalir" rather than Avalier as stated in earlier posts.. Looking at the paper trail on the US Patent site, it's interesting to see how far back this thing has been in the works. The patent for the name "Avalir" was only recently approved in the latter part of 2009. I'm so ready! Of course, if this is repeat information I apologize in advance, I just haven't seen anything myself lately so I thought I'd throw a line out and see what it reels in.. any experts out there have any additional info they can share? tmportal.uspto.gov/external/PA_1_...ĪtPage=1&rowNum=1&rowCount=35&formattedDate=15-Sep-2009 |

I have looked and looked! Naturally Kirby isn't releasing anything. My friend is going to go snooping around his kirby distributor in Dallas to see if he can dig up anything! Not keeping my hopes up, but its worth a shot since i read in a previous post where Dallas was included in a list of "test cities" and some units were supposed to be rolled out beginning in April. He's as excited as the rest of us.
