HI all,, Its been so long since I have been out on the site. I am trying to catch up on group activities, and who is doing what. One of the things I will be trying more to do is clean up my shop, and get rid of some toys that are just collecting dust. Many of which I have duplicates. A lot are just parts. I just happened to come across a hoover 707 with a great bag,, of which I will save if someone needs it. I will also search the site to see if there is a parts swap column. Feel free to write me if you are looking for parts.. Victor

Hoover 707

Dennis, You had asked about the Hoover 707. When I got it, I thought it was just another convertible to keep for friends. I took it home, and to my surprise, it must have been used only once or twice. Even the paint in the fan housing was intact, and the beater brush was still fully intact! But the motor bearings were totaly dry, like the oil had dryed up.Wierd! So I kept the motor should I want to rebuild it. I installed a decade 800 bigger amp motor and fan, and put a green shake out cloth bag I had sewed up on it. Its like a Monster vac on steriods. The cloth bag passes so much more air, it really helps it. I am trying it around the house to see if I want to keep it,,But I have saved the bag should someone need it. The snaps are intact also. Victor
