Love That Westinghouse!

hygiene903's profile picture
I think yours is a bit newer than mine, as mine still has the metal nozzle, and it's a model F1-46. Also has the metal belt cover, and the bag hangs in front of the nozzle instead of next to it.
Love your banner, too! Reminds me of the big, lighted Westinghouse sign that used to be on the top of the east side of their plant in Mansfield. Whenever we went out of town and came home on 42 North, 30 East, or 39 South, the first glimpse of the Westinghouse sign meant "we're home!"
And here's my F1-46, with the attachments.

Hans.......

First, thank you for the timely manor in which you answered my request for assistance. Thank you too for the pictures. If I could impose on you in the near future (when I'm not working 14-16 hours a day)... I'm a thinkin' a four hour trip to North Carolina might be in order. I need to bring you some things anyway!

In the mean time a question...is the top of that cover angled back toward the metal plate? It appears so in the pictures. Also yours appears gold in color, the one (most complete) that I have is silver. I have to see that machine!!! There must have been different series or model/year changes.

Thanks, and what a fine looking machine.

Rick
