It most definately is not..

1922!!! maybe late 30s or earl to mid 40s,the early ones were straight suction and the bag was backward,by that I mean the fan housing outlet came out on the wrong side.

Yes, I wholeheartedly agree. They must have been looking at patent dates on the machine. Clements made that same upright with several different name variations for quite some time. I have that same cleaner er, um, somewhere. Needless to say, it didn't come from the factory with that hideous blue paint!

Either hammertone brown or polished aluminum, most of the later ones were brown.

Another thing I noticed is that the bag is on the right instead of the left, that seems odd to me.

Now that you mention it, I just had a look at my Twin-Vac (also manufactured by Clements) and it too has the bag discharge on the right. It is brown hammertone with a brown bag. I got it about 2 years ago from an estate sale. My guess is it could be as new as early '50's. It looks alot like the Cadillac and has two speeds. Bearings sound kinda dry but I'm afraid to take it apart.
