I've listed it on eBay. I'm hoping one of our own will win it. I also listed a rare Kirby cord and Silkscreen bag.

Terry,

I bought it off of craigslist last Summer. :)

Thanks Terry...

I'm kind of sad to see it go, but the money from this will hopefully go towards something that I will get to enjoy a lot more. Rick knows what it is!

Well, I trust you were happy with the results on your Kirby cord ... WOW!! I think that's the most I've ever seen an old cord go for. I was surprised your bag didn't do better. That's at least as rare as the cord.

I can see why, though. The later 516-series Kirbys simply do not look right without the original cord. There's just something about the look of that red plug on the gray cord that sets off the look of the machine. Especially for us old farts enough to remember when these machines were new, hehe!

Congratulations!

Charles....

Yep, very please with the cord! I was surprised about the bag too, but oh well. Maybe I'll have better luck with the 508, it'll probably be listed as the whole machine.

What really stumped me is that the Premier had almost 30 watchers on it until the end, and not a single bid! I am happy that at least my reserve was met so I got what I wanted for it.
