Does anyone have the Miele SBB 300 Parquet Floor brush or the generic version available from thinkvacuum.com? Someone a while back posted the link at the bottom for thinkvacuum but I dont remember what they thought of it. Is the generic version an exact replica of the Miele? I use either the Vacuflo premium floor brush or the Kirby bare floor tool for the hard wood floors and tile in my house but Im always looking for something better. I happen to really like how the Kirby nozzle works with the central vacuum but it is small and has to be flipped over regualarly to clean off the accumulated cat hair. The nozzle on thinkvacuum is pretty expensive for a plasic attachment $79-89, but if it really is superior to other nozzles than it would certainly justify the price tag. Like most people on this forum I really appriciate good design and I do love German engineering!

Thanks!
~Steven

I have the SBB400-3 on my Miele Jupiter. It is the same as the 300-3, only a wider width.

IMHO, it is best designed floor brush to ever enter the market. It makes cleaning around obstacles very easy due to its design, yet it can cover large areas of flooring quickly by turning it sideways and cleaning using a side-to-side pattern. All four corners of the brush are bristled and it's channelled to prevent snowplowing.

The brush is made in Germany by Wessel Werk.

I have the parquet tool from Think Vacuum and it is a Miele. All they've done is put an insert in the neck to take it down to 1-1/4 size for US pipes. It's a wonderful brush and really cleans. But it doesn't do well with lots of long dog hair and the height is a little taller than my Vacuflo brush so it doesn't get under some low slung furniture. I'm glad I bought it! Greg
