Hello everyone. I cannot locate a model number for this twin-fan Kenmore upright anywhere. I have looked under the base plate and all around the bottom and back but can't find one. There is a 7B11 ink stamp on the bottom and there is also an ink marking from 1993 on the bottom so I don't imagine it is very old. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Mark

Plastic Hood

Here is a better picture of the hood. An interesting design as there is no on/off switch. The machine starts when you lower the handle.

Mark, if you tip the vac forward as if you are changing the belt,There should be a sticker on the bottom left but on the sidewall IIRC. It could be the right neas the Pile hight. If not the the model is 116.xxx1993.Theres a good chance though that the sticker fell off.The 7B11 stamp would be the inspection ID #. That vac is from about 1986-89. It is about the 3rd model up from BOL price wise. It went for around $89.99 or $99.99.
Come 1993 Those were discontinued for the Elite look a likes with the bag on the front.
Hope this helps.
Ken

Thanks Ken....

Hey Ken...thank you, and thanks to everyone else that replied. There is a sticker there but the model number was so faded that I did not see it. I took my flashlight and looked closer and think is says Model 175.3120181. Does that sound right? Seems like a very lightweight vac that works great. Thanks again.

Hey.... we had that same model back when I was 4 and that was in 87. Sure brigs back memories. How I loved that vacuum. We had that and later got a Eureka model 630 and I used to use them both and pretend they were jealous of each other when I used the other one... (before the Singer twin fan) It was fun!
