I have a friend that also collects vacuums. Yesterday he emaild me pics of this electrolux. I have never seen it before and its plate says made in france. Can anybody help me?

Oh, the 710! I used to have one of those, it belonged to my granddad.

Sadly, it broke in half one day when the clear plastic which covers the motor compartment shattered (I understand they were prone to doing so), and the cord reel just fell off the back!

This was long before I knew of any other collectors, and it got thrown away :(

Sadly it does not work although its in reasonable cosmetic condition. Mine has the combination floor head used on 310/330/345, sorry I do not have the production dates
