Who has vacuums with family or sentimental value? I have 2 of them that I will NEVER get rid of, one is a Eureka 1934A (It belonged to my Grandma who passed away in 1999) and the other one is a red Dirt Devil plus upright(belonged to my Grandpa and Grandma, Grandpa gave it to me in 2005 or 2006, and unfortunately Grandma passed away this April.

I have my mom's last vacuums

One is a black plastic Eureka The Boss upright with onboard tools, and a Boss canister, also black plastic. They both perform very well for 21 year old machines.

and they all are now in my collection:vorwerk kobold vk 117,hoover dial-a-matic (white and yellow), hoover heavy duty U 7008, Hoover constellation mod 867 in different colours and EU Luxes D 728-730.

Heritage II that my parents bought brand new back in the 80s. I now own this vacuum, and it still runs great!

Electrolux olympia

Everyone in my family knows it is willed to me and I will kill them for it. Also she still has the orange celebrity I used when I was a kid. I have pictures of me using it in diapers.

That's a sweet picture, and that is a similar PN to the one I need for my new QS.

many years ago when I needed the cash....stupid me...several years later when I asked the friend who bought it where it is, he said he threw it out!

I have nightmares of "Goldie" stashed all cold and broken in some dumpster somewhere.....

My mom's Kirby model 508. Rebuilt several times in it's history, but still one of the best vacuums in my collection.

I have the Hoover Constellation that belonged to my Grandma Wood, along with it's original hose. Many (if not all) of the attachments have gone missing, however. The machine itself is still running just like it did the day she and Grandpa bought it.

I also have Grandma's Hoover 28 -- even though it's not the EXACT one that she had. I had that one for a while, foolishly got rid of it -- and then years later found the one that I presently have in a local thrift store that wasn't even in business when I got rid of Grandma's cleaner!

I've included here a link to a video of my 28 that I posted on YouTube:
