I have a late model, I think, concept 1 with power drive, power surge slide button. Today did some clean up on it and took off the beater bar, took out the brush/beaters with my brain not taking a mental picture, ok. Do the brushes or the bar rotate and hit the carpet first? Really didn't look good I guess. My instinct says beater behind the brush, but what that is worth who knows. Thanks, David.

The brush is supposed to hit the carpet, then the beater strip hits the carpet behind the brush.
