Well you all probrobly saw the broom vac in its box on e-bay. Well I got her to end it early and I got it for $15. So I cannot wait to get it. BUT... I have a few questions. Can I use the tools from a dd hand vac? will a motor from a hand vac work? Are they loud or do they have a sound like a Kirby?

thanks much!

Yes, the tools for the DD hand vac will work, and I'm not sure about the motor.

As for the noise level, you'll find out soon...;-)

I will say they don't sound anything like a Kirby though.

Oh sorry i made a mistake.

my broomvac is nice and quiet . But this one time it did. So to me the broomvac is one of my favorites.

I got mine last monday.

I love it! but that same night i got a virus and was sooo sick icouldnt even use it. IT IS SOOOOOOOOOOOOO TINY AND CUTE! it is average in sound but it needs a new sticker and the fan shaft looks bent a weeeeeeeee little bit. I am afraid to use it because of this aand are the motors still avalable?

Just used mine. the quality of an Oreck at a fraction of the price!

David, I agree, LOL! Except the Oreck is good enough to where I wouldn't want to smash it like I did with my BV.
