The red Hotpoint upright had a control for dry-cleaning carpets using powder, such as "Sapur", if I remember correctly. |

Sapur yes your right Callum. And nobody did tell them that Vacuuming really is FUN! These upright cleaners really were a rival to Hoover, and still are a rival to todays machines. The uprights cleaned unbelieveably superbly and dont half groom rugs. The tool suction for a dirty fan machine is incredible too. More powerful than Hoovers were. They also have a longer than usual handle making it easier for taller people to use. The only fault I find with my Turbopowers, just not tall enough for me. Hotpoint definitely had the edge on Siemens/Hoover over this. |
