Would it be possible for someone to do a video pick up test of a Kirby Sentria vs Sanitaire Vacuum?

Reason I ask is I would just like to see if the Sentria is on a par at picking up with the Sanitaire.

I have seen older Kirbys being tested in this way against a Sanitaire with the Kirby coming out 2nd.

However not seen a Sentria comparison yet and the sentria has a slightly higher airflow.

Must be Sentria though. I do feel that the Kirby is less likely to spit odd shaped items back out such as stones on door mats etc whereas the sani seems to spit them back out just wont digest them no matter how many times you try...

Thanks.

I have a Heritage II and a Sanitaire clone. I could make one for you if you want.

Ive seen a non sentria comparison but I do believe the Sanitaire has suction very similar to the Sentria so wanted to see Sentria specifically.

Excellent thank you!!!!

I do believe the sanitaire likes to spit things out like stones the kirby just digests it easily!

Actually

it's better for the machine if it spits out the stones.

Both machines are fan first vacs to a larger stone could do some damage.

I know but it spits out the smallest ones, like other day a piece of dried paint that was a lump it spat it back out i could break it apart with my fingers.

Kirby just sucks it straight up!

Richard did you not say you had a Sentria?
How is the Sanitaire shaping up?

Been a while since I used mine but will be taking it up Lancashire next time we go to Pauls Mum and Dads to see just what their Dyson is leaving behind. Hoping for some top notch grooming too from the stiff brushroll to get the carpet pile back into shape after being flattened by said Dyson.

~that would be worth a video or two I reckon.

I have got a Sentria, I personally prefer the Kirby Sentria to the Sani.

I do feel that the Sani is easier to manoevure under furniture and not being so wide it is easier but I do prefer how the Kirby picks up.

For instance cat litter, the type we have here is the wooden pellets, safe to hoover up as they just turn to dust but the sani just spits them back out, kirby sucks them straight up.
