James What is the serial number for your machine? It looks like it's a Kirby made before the BPI came out. | ||

Yes, it looks like a late '84 or early '85 model, as it has the metal zipper on the bag and anti-injury holes in the hose. | ||

Hi, Hi Adam, Sorry for not replying. I've only just re-read through the thread and spotted I never replied to you. I can't confirm yet what year it was made as it's not stored at my home but at my dads house where all my Kirby boxes are stored. But next time I go over and have a sort out I'll check what year this Kirby was made.
Thanks Ben. I saw the video when Kirby first put it up on You tube. I like the video. It's a shame it's quite short.
