That's the way Stan was! Kind, loving, full of fun and always there to answer questions about vacuum cleaners. Be it belt covers, instruction books, or just vacuum cleaner history, if he had it he'd share it. When I told him I was going to form this club and asked him to be a part of it, he was shocked to think anybody would consider him. "I'm far too busy!" he told me, wished me luck and said "if you need historical data on Air-Way, or Hoover let me know!" I did, most of the early stuff came from Stan. He was so proud of this club. I was proud to know him, and I miss him, but he left me with great knowledge. He touched me deeply, as he did with every one of us. HAPPY BIRTHDAY dear friend. Alex Taber |
