I don't know if it's just me or not, but the woman in that Apex ad looks a lot like actress Lauren Bacall. As Lauren did a numbr of photo shoots and was on the cover of Harpers Bazare in the early 40's, she could be the model, or, as I said, it could be just wishful thinking on my part. What do you think?

And yes, for those of you not old enough to know about old movies, she was married to Humphry Bogart. They made four pictures together. 'To Have, And Have Not,' 'The Big Sleep,' 'Dark Passage,'and 'Key Largo.'

I don't think it's impossible

Maybe she posed for a number of stock photos as a model, and someone pulled one for this ad. There's a painting of a model alighting from a 1959 New Yorker, and she's the image of Zsa Zsa Gabor. And then there's Tippi Hedren for Sears:

Not only was she married to Humphrey Bogart, but they were married right here in Ohio, just south of Mansfield (where I grew up), at Malabar Farm, the home of Louis Bromfield, a famous author and agricultural conservationist.
Malabar Farm is now open to the public, and they have several events there during the year, including a Christmas open house, with the house decorated as it was when Bromfield was still living there. He died in 1956.
