Use a Hoover Type A bag for your Innovation "formerly type B" according to the package. Use it sparingly as parts aren't available.... It is a shame as they are great machines. |

Wouldn't you use the bag that Hoover recommended as a replacement to the type B, which would be the TYPE A?? |

I used to get a lot of Turbomasters in for service/repair and found that the activators rarely needed changing..or even the belts; it was usually some other problem, like a broken fan or field winding, damaged door or cable..unless it was the permabag models - the U5132s, which used to block up for fun! I expect that the activators are obsolete now, though I've probably got one or two left, just in case. Even the new ones look worn to the un-trained eye. This is because there is a ridge sticking out of the roller, so the brush length is not as long as on most other machines. Stephen |
