Just a quick note to tell you guys I took my Oreck Platinum into a Oreck store yesterday to have a "rattle" in the rug nozzle checked. They fixed it while I was at the store. NO QUESTIONS ASKED. PERFECT service and Tania and I were treated very nice. They did not even ask for my paperwork. It would sure make me go back if i were a customer!
the store was spotless and they had all their goods displayed beautifully and you can "try" out all the machines. It was a 10 out of 10 experience!

Rob,

I have always had the same experience with the Oreck Store in Dubuque. They know how to treat their customers. If memory serves me right, they have meetings and store inspections on a regular basis along with training.

You and Tania have fun!

Morgan

P.S. Leave some vacuums in the town for the rest of us...LOL

Oreck Question

Are the new Oreck Platinum vacs quieter and more powerfull than the past models? I have 2 Orecks in my collection the Oreck Classic and the Oreck model after the Anniversary model. Anyway I love them for quick picking up but they are really noisy. Dan

Oreck Service

The new Oreck Platinum is much quieter and more powerful than the previous Orecks. I had a new Yellow Oreck XL that I sold because it was so loud. The fill tube is much larger on the new Platinum Upright. It is easy to use and of course it is lightweight cmpared to other uprights.
Nothing bad to say about this new Oreck and I was NOT an Oreck fan.

I have an 2004 Oreck XL classic. The fan chamber recently cracked and the man at the Oreck store was very nice. Yes Orecks are loud, but they are great vacuums. I love the way they groom the carpet.

I tried the Oreck Platinum Power Team at my local Oreck store...Very impressive!

As a former Oreck employee.....

I can tell you "firsthand" that Oreck is more interested in "repeat sales" than in the initial sale. That's what keeps them in business. When I used to manage one of their stores, I found it peculiar that they were always more interested in how many bags & belts I sold sold versus how many machines I sold. To me, the writing was already on the wall.....Go figure.
