This was AEG's answer to Volkswagen

I remember this Lego coloured AEG vacuums, they were released as an answer to VW's special edition "Harlekin" (Polo and Golf models only, mid 90s I think).

VW's "harlequin"

Yes, I remember it well. At the time, I was interested in a '96 GTI, and they offered me a super deal on a Golf with the harlequin paintjob. The salesman told me they couldn't give them away. I really wanted a 2 door, and the harlequins only came in the 4-door version, so I waited for the New Beetle and got a '73 Audi Fox instead.

Hardly have I ever talked about Lego coloured appliances AT ALL in my life, there comes a washer popping up on kalaydo.de (Siemens seems to join in):
