I need a cord for my ge roll-easy R1 vacuum I just got. a mixer cord does fit, but I would like to find an old replament for it. thanks chris

Ugh! Those are tough to find! You should be happy to have found the RE! I was lucky enough to get one! The cord has a replacement for the plug for the wall, but it works. I still have to play with the motor...it was making funny noises...

ge R1 cord

yes I know I have looked for years for one. my friend found this one for me for xmas, for 3bucks at a curch sale. just vacuum and hose. I have tools for it in my parts stash but no cord. If i have to I will use a mixer cord for now. It does need some woork on it, was stored in a basement for years. it does run but needs the bearings greased they are dry,could use a paint job too. do to some light rust.

If I were you, I wouldn't paint it. Mine is in relatively good shape. I oiled the wheels...they are much smoother now. I think my motor is dry, too. I still have to get my Lewyt Leader back together after I figure out how to take the motor apart to grease it.

good luck with your lewyt, I had a lewyt big wheel wen I was little. I hope to fined one soon, like the one I had.
