Kyle...

Congrats on the Convertible. Yours was made between 1978 and 1980 and came with the cleaning tools. This was a "C" line cleaner but still "deluxe" in that it still had the famous Hoover two speed motor. Your low serial number that you told to me over the phone puts it at the first month of production at least. You have a really good Hoover there in mint condition. Thanks for sharing the pics!!!!

No problem Kyle.....

I will continue to keep my eye out for you for other things that you may like to have.

Whenever it's convienent, you may call or stop in. Always fun to get down the old vacuums and play with them. Keeps them working and useful for sure.

We forgot....we never played with the Kirby 505 ! Oh well we'll save it for next time.

You sure are lucky to have fantastic parents that help you get to these places of dreams... vacuum stores that is.

Like I've told you...My places of dreams when I was your age were Sears, Montgomery Wards (mostly), K-Mart, Service Merchandise, Best, Century House and Whitmark Catolog Showrooms. And these were purpose stores, becasue they offered MORE than just vacuum cleaners...so my parents would take us there becasue they had something else to do or buy!

I never set foot in a honest to goodness vacuum cleaner store until I was 14 years old.

Im glad you like it Kyle.

Ann Arbor Vacuum

P.S. I only have one machine that I would like to find currently if you happen to find one in your travels. A late 70's or Early 80's Sers BEST Kenmore Canister w/ PowerMate color unimportant. I prefer the original PowerMate that is more squarish, with the headlight set off to the side, rather than a later one like that older woman brought in while you were there! If you see one...call me asap ok! Unless you want it for you....lol
