Any one have a Elux model E motor for sale because i can not find one any where that is cheap (someone wanted $110 for one) | ||

The motor from a later XXX (1949~1952), LX, LXI, E, AE, F, S, R, L or G will fit inside a Model E. If it were me doing it, I'd get a late (tan) G motor because it's more powerful than all those before it. You'd really have a super-charged E! | ||

I had an R that was wicked powerful. I dont know why but it was, I am thinking that someone might have replaced the motor. unfortuneately it wound up in the trash on moving day about 1.5 yr ago. I wish I could get another R | ||

The Canadian Electroluxes always had a filter because the power loss with one is negligible (unless you let it plug up) yet they eliminated alot of the extra dust being kicked out of the machine and made it much quieter (both features that Electrolux advertised and caplitalized on). If you notice all the new, so called "delux", machines have secondary filters on them now too. | ||
