hello, I have a question about the Airway tank from the 70's. It's the white and teal one. This one didn't have the power head port on the side like all the others I have seen with the Rugmaster, however in the back of this vacuum around the bottom, there was a brown plug next to where the cord comes out for the power head. I have never seen this before. Could it be that this model didn't come with a powerhead and a vac shop added it later? The hose was a replacment without the cord wrapped around it but it did have the rubber straps that would have held the cord. Any info on this would be nice. |

A lot of the early "Air-Ways" had a power nozzle outlet added later to accomodate a power head. I just found an early 88 model that was converted over to the power head, so it was done on alot of them later. Airwaylady Tania |
