Serial Number, Please?

Hi,

What is the serial #? On this vacuum it is found by looking at the backside of the rug nozzle, which is detachable like the Kirby.

That's One Beautiful Royal!!

And I can tell from the bag, attachment set, and sticker on the nozzle that it is one of the later 880's, possibly late 80's or early 90's. Can't beat the price either, especially with attachments. Congrats,
Jeff

Royal nozzel head is NOT detachable like the Kirby. adjust plate on front comes off to attach hose.

there was a royal, i dont know which one, where the head did come off, only example of it made.

The Serial # Means ...

kirbyclassiciii's profile picture
This unit was built in April 1986, assembly plant/line F, and sequence number 85203 (would be 84,203rd unit made if the sequence # started from 01001).

Hey Ben,

hygiene903's profile picture
How far back do you have serial # info on Royal products? I have several Royals and Electro-Hygienes in my collection that I would like to have more accurate informatiom for. Do you have any kind of listings that show beginning and ending dates and serial #'s for different models? Shoot me an email at pressmanjs@yahoo.com.
Thanks,
Jeff
