Royal nozzel head is NOT detachable like the Kirby. adjust plate on front comes off to attach hose. there was a royal, i dont know which one, where the head did come off, only example of it made. | ||

How far back do you have serial # info on Royal products? I have several Royals and Electro-Hygienes in my collection that I would like to have more accurate informatiom for.
