I recieved an interesting phone call thursday afternoon. A friend who has a vac shop in Regina called and said they had decided it was no longer worth rebuilding some of the older machines so they were getting rid of the ones that were taking up space in the basement. Would I like to have them. (Gee - hard question to answer :) ). I went down there friday and this is what I picked up. Anyone want to trade for a green machine once I've had the time to sort them out (Sorry but I think most of the red ones are spoken for as I have a waiting list)

Doug

Hmm - just realized that I should put down what I'd like to trade for.

Top of the list is Older European Electroluxes and Goblins.

Next down are these American Electroluxes. - XXX (all blue), LXI, T, R, L (white), Hosp G (White/blue), L (brown), Hosp G (white/brown), L (gold), Olympia 2, Silverado, Silverado Special.

I dont know what shape all the machines are in but I'll check them out as I have time.

Wow, what a haul! I would love to have one of the red 88s but don't have anywhere to put it and don't have anything to trade. It's a beautiful machine, very powerful, and very quiet! Even softer-sounding than the delicate American Model G!

Holy 80 Series, Dougman!

Is that a white/cream (or red-ended) 83 there and if so, is one of them spoken for yet?

Dave, got every one except an 83. :-(
