Okay,
You guys have answered my questions about the Eureka and Fairfax power heads, now can you tell me when Filter Queen introduced the power head what year and what model?
I have a 31 in the salmon color with a matching power head and the motor is dated 1972 but I am pretty sure this isn't the first one as I remember a little cream and tan colored that looked different from any Filter Queen power head I have ever seen.

When did Royal introduce the power head and was it the rugmaster?

last question for now

kirbyvertibles's profile picture
When did Airway introduce the rugmaster and how long after the Eureka head thing had been made?
How long did Airway make the rugmaster and how many models were made with the rugmaster and how many models were made with the Eureka head?
Oh and on the early ones did they come with a choice of the big Eureka power head or rugmaster power head.

( I cheated, that was many questions all in one) hahaha

Filter Queen Power Head

I can't tell you the date when FQ came out with the power head, but I can tell you where they got it and there cordwinder as well, G.E. ...believe it or not , ge had it first and sold the rights to build it to FQ, as for dates Mike Rogers in Chicago can tell you, he is the Filter Queen-Royal expert.
