Check eBay and thrift stores. I've see some old vacuums at thrift stores all the time. The Goodwill (and probably all other thrift stores) will let you turn on the vacuums and let your hear it and stuff. When ever you buy a thrift store vacuum, buy new bags, belts, and sometimes a new bulb. I'll email you if I ever find one ebay.
