My friend has an Electrolux Olympia 1 Model 1401-B canister vacuum cleaner that is missing its user manual and whatever other documentation that may have come with it. Does anyone know how I can find this for him? Thanks for any feedback!

Rob

If no one here has one, you can contact customer service at www.aerusonline.com... and the will email you a scan of the service manual. I did this once with an older model -- the Grand Marquise. It's not original, but it may help.

Interesting that on the last page in the description for the upright it says commercial model available as well. Did not know they made a commercial version of this machine. I'm sure it's just a different color scheme and heavy duty cord.

"commercial model available"

Longer, thicker 3 wire cord, spacer under upper cord hook to hold more cord, sometimes slightly different decal & brush with beater bar but no special comm colors until Discovery styles.

Olympia One was my first (used) Electrolux in .... 1991.
I traded in a Hoover spirit to pay for it, and paid, I think it was about $80 difference.

Thanks for the upload.

Thank you for posting the manual! I have my great gradmother's Olympia One and it needs a bit of repair and TLC, and I needed to see what attachments went with it (have a box of Electrolux attachments for two machine's worth, as she saved the tools from her old one that blew the motor out)

The Oly One's still had the big Super J motors.
